Well, it is officially the holiday season. Our apartment is decorated with the holiday decoration Brandee and I brought back. It is quite cute. I finished classes today...... and for me basically the whole semester. I only have one final, which is not even really a final just a "fourth test." So to me, I am done!
I got a letter today from a good friend of mine who is on a mission. It seems everything is going well. His comp. is super strict but he is coping. I really miss him. Only another 20 months to go!
Anyways as I my title says, I am ready to go home. I do not want to be in Tucson anymore. I need to get out for just a while, even if it is just a short month. Be with my family, work at a different job, just do something different. While I am thankful for everything I have in Tucson....... I need to leave for my own sanity!

SO EXCITED!
I am just so dang excited that I can not share my excitement. I am leaving for Utah on Friday!!!! My grandpa is having his 90th birthday party this weekend! He is seriously an AMAZING man. Not only that, but pretty much a huge majority of my dad's side of the family will be there, many of whom I have not seen in 3-8+ years! So I am just seriously that excited to go! Each day the hours seem to drag by, but only 2.5 more days left and then I will be on a plane to utah!!!!! YAY.
Hopefully today will go fast due to the fact that the Fray is tonight!

Life is good!
I have finally hit that point in the semester where I can see the light at the end of the tunnel. I had a 7-10 page research paper due last sunday and frankly I just could not get myself to write it. I wrote about 1/2 a page on friday and then shelly and I went home that night. I finished the paper saturday morning in about 3 hours, checked it over once sunday with minimal changes and turned it in! I got a 92%. Heck ya. I have another paper due tomorrow (which is done) and one due next week, then thats about it.
The Fray is this wednesday and I am so beyond excited to go. The concert is sold out, so hopefully it will be a fun night! Then this weekend I am flying up to Utah for my Grandpa's 90th birthday party! I am really really excited! This week is gonna be awesome!

Nada
You know I figured I had not posted anything on here for a while (even though I am pretty sure no one actually reads this). Anyways school and work have kept me busy. Last week I worked 30 hours between my 2 jobs and school so it keeps me busy. Honestly besides that I don't do much. My 3 best friends (besides Erica) from last year are gone. 2 are on missions, one to Brazil and one in Baltimore and the other one is up in PHX waiting until he can leave to go to Guatemala and that is on Jan. 20. I honestly look forward to getting the mail in anticipation that there will be something there from one of them. Besides that I hang out with Erica and random people here and there, but I can't say its the same. My apartment did have a party a couple weeks ago. What had originally been planned as a 10 person get together turned into around 50 people get together. However, it was the most fun I have had this semester. We are throwing another party on halloween due to the fact that NOTHING is going on on halloween night. I have hopes that this party will be just as good. Besides that my lfie is boring. Once something incredible happens I will make sure to update this and let you know that something exciting and wonderful has happened!!!!

Days of HECK!
Well, as many of you know, I am taking summer school classes (2) as well as working two jobs. Times are getting stressful. Today I hit my peak. Everything just seemed to fall and NOTHING was working to my advantage. I spent my whole afternoon which I had off, the only day I had off at Home Depot! We have to get all this junk for our presentation and what else happened I got wood stainer on my nice shirt (that doesn't come off btw). To top it all off grades were posted for a project and none to say the least I was not happy.
I am literally counting down the days until this class is done. 6 school days to go with only 9 full days until I leave. Honestly I wouldn't mind staying in Tucson the rest of the summer..... but at this point I need to get away. I think the 5 week vacation (sad yes this will be a vacation just going home) will be nice. I will still be working in tempe but it will be different.
I think the other thing I am looking forward to is air conditioning! We have swamp coolers at our apt. and well when its 51% humidity like its been the past 3 days, it doesn't work so well. The average temp in our apartment since about saturday has been 87 degrees. Its hot and humid and I am ready for at least a cool apartment or the air conditioning at home.
I honestly hope that your summer is going way better than mine! Maybe you can tell me all about your trips once I am done with summer school and I can vicariosly live through you! Have fun! <3

Long time
Whoa! I realized I had not been on in FOREVER! My sisters wedding on May 23 was absolutely beautiful! She looked like a ray coming off the sun just so beyond happy. I will try to post pictures once I figure out how too. Spending the weekend with family and friends was glorious. It really felt like a family reunion. My dads side of the family came and I honestly rarely get to see them so that was nice.
Summer has started and I have actually already finished one classs! It was only three weeks long, but really it turned out to be quite simple! The class was basic skills in counseling and greatest was my teacher was actually a marriage and family therapist... EXACTLY what I wanted to do. I really enjoyed hearing his stories and just talking with him.
Now onto summer one classes......5 weeks of craziness. The first 2 days of class I was stressin. I think my english class is going to be more work than what everyone had told me which made me frusterated. I felt like I got the hard teacher, and contemplated dropping the class, but hey if I get a B its not that bad.
Things have started to look up. As I told my mom in an email today the Lord does answer prayers. As I have been teaching the new member discussions I have realized how much I take this gospel for adventage (that sounds funny in my head but oh well). I feel like I have just taken it for granted. Since sunday I have really stepped up my game. Funny, Erica's visiting teachers came over and while I was in my room I heard one of the girls say something and it really struck me hard. Its just funny how the Lord speaks to us.
OH thats another thing. I moved in with Erica 2.5 weeks ago. Right now we still have our own bedrooms but come august we will share. I am way excited. We get along so well, but we know when we need just me time! I absolutely love living with my best friend!
Well thats all for now. I LOVE YOU all!

Missing out!
Man, right now I feel like I am missing out on everything! As many of you know my sister is getting married 2 weeks from today which is so incredibly exciting. Only sad thing is I miss out on all the excitement. Thursday was her bachlorette party, and today was her bridal shower. I however did not get to go to either. It sucks not being there cause I never know whats going on and I just feel like I miss EVERYTHING! Oh well, I guess thats life.
On another note tomorrow is Mothers Day! I am so very thankful for my wonderful mother. She is my rock. Whenever I am down or really just need to talk to someone its her. She is an amazing woman and has been through so much this past year. Yet even in the mist of all of her trials she was still always there for me. I love her so much!
Another post about family, but right now thats a huge part of my life. With Shelly graduating, and two days later Katie getting married its busy busy. My dad is continuing to go back and forth to Ireland and my mom is as always a trooper with all her treatments. I love my family and wouldn't change them for the world!

Family
Last night, I had the opportunity to go to STOMP with my whole family. My older sister (who is getting married in 3 weeks), my younger sister (who graduates in 3 weeks). my dad (who booked his trip back to ireland a day later for this), and my mom (who is such a fighter). Having my family come down was the best present I could have. Even if it was just for a few hours. I love and miss my family. I am jeleous because at home they are all working on wedding plans, and I am stuck at school. My family means the world to me.
I also realized I have another family here. My friends here in Tucson in a sense have become my family. Because we are all living on our own it is your close friends that one has to rely on.
I love families and I absolutely LOVE being apart of one.
